Washington University
SLALCO was assigned several projects during Washington University's restoration and expansion, which began in 1997. The Mary Brooks Holmes Lounge in Stephen Ridgley Hall was built in 1900 and designed by the architectural firm Cope & Stewardson of Philadelphia. The central chandelier was designed to complement the architectural style of the space and was installed with an "uplight" system to illuminate the extremely ornate ceiling.
Brauer Hall was designed in the University Gothic style and opened in 2010. It accommodates the Standards of Department of Energy and Environmental and Chemical Engineering (EECE), the International Center for Advanced Renewable Energy and Sustainability (I-CARES), and the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
